Weekend Activities
Whether you're joining us for the wedding or not, we'd love to invite you to celebrate with us and our community during the Shabbat before the wedding.
The following two events are times when we will be celebrating our wedding with our entire community:
Friday Evening, October 26th
We'll be celebrating with our Shabbat community at KICKS (KI's Community Kabbalat Shabbat). Our friends will be leading services, Josh will be giving the d'var torah (short sermon), and we will be sponsoring the kiddush oneg (food after services).
Services begin at 6:15pm at Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard St. Brookline, MA 02446.
Saturday Morning, October 27th
As is Jewish tradition on the Shabbat before marriage, we will be called to the Torah for a blessing on Saturday morning, October 27th. Rachel will be giving a short dvar torah, both Josh and Rachel will be called to the Torah, and friends will be reading Torah.
Services begin at 8:45am at Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard St. Brookline, MA 02446 - no need to be there at the very beginning, but be sure to be there by 9:30. There will be a kiddush luncheon after services.
If you're joining us from out of town, please be sure to let us know your plans so we can let you know of other opportunities to visit with us.
